Key Reports and Interactions:

• Reports directly to the Regional Business Manager on all areas of responsibility.
• Collaborates with the Sales Executive on specifications and project expectations.

Role Overview:

• Acts as project owner post-sale through completion.
• Manages the project scope of work through construction and completed installation for automated window treatment and lighting systems in luxury residential projects.
• Manages client expectations, trade coordination and communication throughout the project timeline.
• Oversees specification review, ordering and trade coordination for successful execution.
• Oversees all aspects of integrated control systems and product performance.
• Ensures timely completion of punch list work and submission of final billing.
• Ensures accurate estimation of labor hours required and complete information is documented for executing an efficient installation. 
• Ensures clear, daily communication with the Lead Installer on progress of installation.
• Sets the example for a successful client experience that meets ASI standards and operations departmental goals.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in project management in construction or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years experience with MS Office computer systems and programs.
• Proficient in general technology, typing, and both verbal and written communication.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Meet with Sales Executive, trade clients and homeowners to finalize specification and job site details.
• Specify window treatment, lighting and AV systems as outlined by contract for proper ordering and system performance.
• Specify window treatment assembly as needed including tube size, motors, components and controls.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor status of construction and work progress by other trades impacting ASI contract.
• Conduct on-site meetings with trades to provide electrical specifications, pocket dimensions, and system control layout.
• Maintain an organized calendar to schedule individual company time and appointments.
• Provide product submittals and specifications as needed.
• Prepare schedules for pocket, mounting, and wiring.
• Conduct client walk through to review controls, system settings or set light levels.
• Prepare job progress schedules for regular updating and distribution as needed for duration of a project.
• Coordinate installation timeframe with client and Production Manager for proper scheduling.
• Document and distribute site visit discussions, needs, and directives communicated at job meetings with trades and client.
• Field and final measure for product quotation and ordering.
• Take photographs and document job site conditions and areas.
• Prepare ASI measure sheets and forms to guarantee accurate information and communication for purchasing and installation.
• Prepare all product orders and bill of materials required per contract and final agreed specifications.
• Calculate the estimated labor and installation hours required to execute the work for proper scheduling.
• Prepare keypad texting layout and final engraving schedules for approval. (lighting projects only)
• Create and program Lutron design and control software layout. (lighting projects only)
• Prepare ISS to guarantee efficient communication to Production and Installation teams.
• Walk through job site and review expectations with Lead Installer.
• Respond to calls from installers concerning any “in-field” requests that need to be expedited and ensure progress.  
• Record and update all job site status and punch list information required in Monday.com.
• Expedite all punch list items and final billing submission to accounting department.
• Process Return Good Authorizations and product issues directly with vendor on active jobs.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (NAPLES, FL)

Key Reports and Interactions:

• Reports directly to the Regional Business Manager on all areas of responsibility and installation scope of work.
• Collaborates with the Production Manager and Project Managers to ensure a successful project by ASI standards and operations departmental goals.

Role Overview:

• Responsible for the purchasing and tracking of all stock inventory and project related products and materials.
• Understands and obtains the knowledge of each project product, system and scope of work needed for completion.
• Responsible for receipt and storage of all products and materials.
• Responsible for shop supplies and inventory organization. 
• Ensures installation teams have the necessary information, tools and equipment to complete a successful installation
• Responsible for Job Preparation and Staging of job items pre-install. 
• Responsible for operations office and shop areas are organized and well-maintained. 
• Responsible for shipping and receiving for the company.  
• Establishes relationships with manufacturer and vendor reps to be a successful partner in company purchasing, shipping, and expediting needs.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years general construction and/or basic electrical knowledge.
• The desire to work with their hands and be involved in day to day shop and installation work.
• Experience and an intermediate level of skill with computer programs and email, good  organizational skills, and attention to detail. 
• The ability to climb ladders, work over head with various power and hand tools, and lift 50 lbs minimum if required.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Uses purchasing databases, communication with vendors and spec guides to properly submit purchases and orders on behalf of the Project Manager.
• Tracks order status, estimated ship dates, and follows up on delivery discrepancies. 
• Reviews job scope paperwork to have clear understanding of work and advise on any missing information.
• Updates the Rework Tracking board with purchases due to errors, including investigating issues and resolutions.
• Maintains the Order Submit Process board with all job order data and monitors progress of orders needing to be placed.
• Order bulk and stock inventory items including lineals, shade components, power supplies, wire and controls.
• Enters purchasing and receiving information in the ASI Inventory Control.
• Completes the Gatekeeping process on all manufacturer orders.
• Preps materials for various manual and motorized window treatments, shutters, wood and fabric valances, and metal lineal top treatments.
• Stages job for ease of pick up by installer, including cutting of lineals, charging batteries, and gathering components and controls for outgoing job site buckets.
• Motorize shades with motors and components in fabrication area.
• Expedites field operations jobsite requests on a daily basis to keep installation moving forward.
• Work with various hand and power tools to prepare material needed pre-install. 
• Calculate, cut, and label metal lineal components. 
• Must be proficient with a calculator, tape measure, fractions and measurement calculations.
• Complete fabrication and motorization for various roman and hard treatments as needed. 
• Monitor and order shop supplies as needed.
• Coordinate quarterly fleet inventory with the field installers. Process order for restock as needed. Monitor and advise the PDM on necessary fleet  maintenance to be scheduled.

LEAD INSTALLER (NAPLES, FL)

Key Reports and Interactions :

• Reports directly to the Field Operations Manager on all areas of responsibility and installation scope of work.
• Collaborates with the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager to ensure a successful installation by ASI standards and operations departmental goals.
• Directs and leads field installers and technicians at job site.

Role Overview:

• Ensures that he and his team are prepared with the necessary information, tools and equipment to complete a successful installation. 
• Responsible for executing a layout and approach to the install and communicating this to the other installers while actively participating in the installation of products with the team. 
• Performs quality installations at the job site and serves as lead troubleshooter and facilitator when problems or challenges arise with the team and sets the pace of the job accordingly.
• Sets the example for all other installers for quality, code of conduct, communication, productivity, and working to reach our goals.  
• Acts as the single point of contact to the Field and Project Managers on the status and flow of installation work, as well as interfaces with the client at the job site to take any questions or requests that need to be addressed.
• Successfully guides and completes installations that achieve our company goals for excellent installation. These include a punchlist free completed installation, utilizing resources to advance the job and be the most productive, good time management to be effective in a reasonable timeframe, ensure all products are safe and secure, ensure all products are consistent with an ideal shade operation, ensure product and installation appearance is at a high standard and within sales and client expectations, maintain a clean and damage free work site, and work to meet the clients approval.

Required Qualifications:

• Individuals should have a minimum of 2 years general construction experience
• Individual should have a minimum of 1 year general carpentry and basic electrical knowledge.

ESTIMATOR/SYSTEMS DESIGNER – LIGHTING & WINDOW TREATMENTS (NAPLES, FL)

Key Reports and Interactions:

• Reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager on all areas of responsibility.
• Collaborates with the Sales Executives and Project Managers in Naples and New York on product, systems and scope of work to ensure complete and accurate window treatment estimates.
• Collaborates with the Window Treatment Estimator to ensure a complete submission of all necessary estimates.

Role Overview:

• Responsible for preparation of lighting control system, light fixtures, and motorized window treatment estimates. 
• Responsible for the ASI quote process including accuracy in pricing, terms, recording, tracking and reporting. 
• Assists with the design, documentation and specification of products and control systems for luxury residential projects.
• Responsible for specification review to ensure system and scope of work estimated is complete and within manufacturer’s specs.
• Responsible for project design drawings by using standard markup and design software or requesting drawings from CAD designer.
• Manages specification library, price guides, and other product information to ensure they are updated for accurate and current information from all manufacturers.
• Responsible for participation in site visits with sales, project management and clientele to collaborate on project and design needs and direction.
• Acts as pre-contract design support to the Sales Executives for proper system design.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in:
  • Reading architectural plans in a home construction-based position.
  • Completing drawing mark ups with PDF Editor and/or Bluebeam
  • Lutron lighting control and window treatment estimating.
  • Lighting control system design and specification.
  • High-end interior residential projects and client-facing meetings and discussions.
• Proficient in Office 365 products; including Excel, Word, and Outlook Email.
• Proficient in general computer programs, navigating websites and online tools.

• Review request for quote, customer data, architectural drawings, electricals, window schedules, measure sheets, and scope of work to extract necessary data, do take-offs, and identify project requirements.
• Compile RFI and RFQ and send to vendors to obtain accurate product information and costs.
• Calculate accurate material and labor costs by referencing price guides and analyzing scope of work.
• Confirm labor and time requirements with Project Manager on a per project basis as needed.
• Prepare estimates for Sales Executive approval and submit to client within a 24-48 hour period upon receipt of complete information.
• Work within a variety of manufacturer’s online software tools to access product specs and costs.
• Design Lutron RA2 and Homeworks control system layout with required components and controls.
• Meets with Sales Executive to review proposed design layout.
• Create design layout documentation in PDF Editor and/or Bluebeam.
• Marks up architectural plans or drawings with control layout for client presentation and field reference.
• Research product specs and system compatibility on new products, control and integration.
